• Notification of Surgery Closure - Monday Morning 26th February 2018

    Please note due to exceptional circumstances both the Boroughbridge and Helperby surgeries will be CLOSED on Monday morning of the 26th February 2018.

    Boroughbridge surgery will be CLOSED from 8am - 12pm. Re-opening at 12pm.

    Helperby surgery will be CLOSED and re-open on Tuesday 27th February 2018.

    There will be an emergency service running only.

  • Dispensary Opening Times

    Please be aware the Dispensary is not open on a Saturday morning when the Surgery is running a Saturday morning clinic.

    The Dispensary hours are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 6pm.


  • Who is my named GP?

    All Patients haven been allocated a named GP who is responsible for the Patient's overall care.

    Please contact the surgery if you would like to know the name of your GP.

    Although you have a named GP, you can still make appointments with any of our doctors.

     If you wish you can also ask to change your named GP and we would aim to accommodate this request wherever possible.

  • Online services for 11-16 year olds

    Unfortunately for operational reasons, online services will not be available to patients aged between 11-16 years.

    TPP have released a SystmOnline app, available currently for the IOS platform, which offers patients much of the same functionality as the SystmOnline website, but optimised for smartphones.

Patient Participation Group

Patient Participation Group (PPG) is made of practice staff and patients that are representative of the practice population. The main aim of the PPG is to ensure that patients are involved in decisions about the range and quality of services provided and, over time, commissioned by the practice.

Using the PPG, GP practices are encouraged to promote the proactive engagement of patients and to seek views from practice patients through the use of local practice surveys.

The outcomes of the engagement and the views of patients are publised below.
