    We will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period 2017/2018:

    Monday 25th December 2017

    Tuesday 26th December 2017

    Monday 1st January 2018

    Please ensure you have enough medication to carry you through the holiday period and allow 3 working days from ordering your repeat prescription before collection, thank you.

    If you require urgent healthcare advice when the surgery is closed you should call 111, the  NHS 111 service.

    If you have a life-threatening emergency please call 999.

  • FLU CAMPAIGN 2017

    If you are 65 years old or over, or fall into one of the at risk categories, then please attend one of our Flu walk in clincs.  Please click here for the clinic dates.  Please note these are for adults only

  • Upcoming Surgery Closure

    Please note the surgery will be closed for a Training Afternoon on: 

    Thursday 8th February 2018 from 1pm.

    The surgery will reopen as usual the next day, Friday 9th February 2018 from 8am.

    If you require urgent healthcare advice when the surgery is closed you should call 111, the  NHS 111 service.

  • Dispensary Opening Times

    Please be aware the Dispensary is not open on a Saturday morning when the Surgery is running a Saturday morning clinic.

    The Dispensary hours are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 6pm.

     

     
  • Who is my named GP?

    All Patients haven been allocated a named GP who is responsible for the Patient's overall care.

    Please contact the surgery if you would like to know the name of your GP.

    Although you have a named GP, you can still make appointments with any of our doctors.

     If you wish you can also ask to change your named GP and we would aim to accommodate this request wherever possible.

     
  • Online services for 11-16 year olds

    Unfortunately for operational reasons, online services will not be available to patients aged between 11-16 years.

  • TTP SystmOne App

    TPP have released a SystmOnline app, available currently for the IOS platform, which offers patients much of the same functionality as the SystmOnline website, but optimised for smartphones.

Practice Nurses

Our highly skilled Nursing team, with the support of Health Care Assistants, offer a variety of services here at the surgery all run on an appointment basis only.  Due to the variety of services you may be asked by the Receptionist the nature of your appointment.  This is to help us ensure that you see the appropriate nurse.

 

Core services available: 

  • New patient health checks
  • Blood taking and ECG recording
  • Clinical procedures i.e. dressings, suture removal, ear syringing
  • Clinical monitoring i.e. Doppler’s, blood pressure checks, weight checks
  • Dietary / lifestyle advice
  • Health promotion advice
  • Travel vaccinations and advice*
  • Cervical cytology
  • Family planning advice / Repeat pill prescriptions**
  • Emergency care if appropriate

 

 * To be made ideally 6 weeks prior to travelling to discuss all your travel advice and vaccination requirements.  Please note follow up appointments may be necessary to administer the vaccinations you require.

 

** Available with the practice nurse for the under 50’s only and on an alternative doctor / practice nurse basis.  Patients over 50 will be required to book in with one of the doctors.
