  • CHANGES TO THE REPEAT PRESCRIPTION TELEPHONE SERVICE 

    From Monday 12th November 2018 access to the repeat prescription telephone service will be available from:

    12.30pm to 3pm

    Monday - Friday

    You can still order your repeat medications in person, on-line, through the App or via the post.

     
  • Dispensary Opening Times

    Please be aware the Dispensary is not open on a Saturday morning when the Surgery is running a Saturday morning clinic.

    The Dispensary hours are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 6pm.

     

     
  • Who is my named GP?

    All Patients haven been allocated a named GP who is responsible for the Patient's overall care.

    Please contact the surgery if you would like to know the name of your GP.

    Although you have a named GP, you can still make appointments with any of our doctors.

     If you wish you can also ask to change your named GP and we would aim to accommodate this request wherever possible.

     
  • Online services for 11-16 year olds

    Unfortunately for operational reasons, online services will not be available to patients aged between 11-16 years.

    TPP have released a SystmOnline app, available currently for the IOS platform, which offers patients much of the same functionality as the SystmOnline website, but optimised for smartphones.

What is NHS 111

NHS-111-LOGO-FINAL-CMYK-BLK_250x400NHS 111 is a new telephone service for people in Yorkshire and the Humber to call if they need medical help fast but are not in a life-threatening situation.

 

The easy-to-remember, free-to-call number is being introduced across England to help reduce the pressure on A&E departments and the 999 service.

 

Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a week, the service is for people who aren’t sure if they need to go to A&E, don’t have a GP to call or generally need reassurance and advice.

 

On dialling 111 a team of fully-trained advisers and experienced nurses will assess your condition and direct you to the local service that can help you best, when you need it.

 

There are now only three numbers you need to know:

  • Your GP surgery - Church Lane Surgery (01423) 322309
  • 111 for urgent healthcare advice
  • 999 for life-threatening emergencies
